VERY SPECIAL KIDS Day - Sunday Aug 28th, 2022
Come along and try your hand at flying a remote control plane with guidance, use the flight simulator or just watch the amazing skills displayed by the pi-lots. The sounds are incredible.
Westernport Model Aircraft Club is very keen to offer a chance for children of all abilities to take part in any way they can. Kids can be supported to use the Flight Simulator and even fly the planes using a co-pilot control system. So come down and have a try. The airfield is in a lovely natural environment.

Message to all WPMAC members, please come along on the day to support the efforts of the Very Special Kids organisation and show off our sport/hobby by putting on a fun day’s flying and getting involved. We need plenty of planes and flyers to fill the day and sky, you don’t need to be a great pilot, it is a fun-fly day with a very special audience. If you have a buddy-box set up, please contact me so we can have a few instructors able to give a simple “hands-on” introduction through the day. Anyone able to help on the day with the simulators, kitchen or simply talking to the families, please let me know by email.
