It’s that time of year again…. June 30 is fast approaching and renewals are due, especially so if you want to keep flying from July 1. (insurance).
I need to make you aware of some upcoming challenges that will affect the my abilities processing of renewals. I have been diagnosed with a cancer in the back of my throat. According to the boffins at PMC it is cureable but I will need to undergo 8 weeks of daily radiation and chemo treatment which will progressively make my life more difficult for me from approximately the end of July.
I would therefore ask you one and all to please make a concerted effort to have your membership renewals in as soon as possible.
The highlights.
- I must have your form back in order to ensure that the MAAA database has your up to date details…ie. If your email address is wrong you won’t get the email with the link to download your FAI licence.
- Forms can be ‘scanned and emailed’ ‘phone photo and texted’ ‘left in the letterbox at the front gate’ or even ‘posted by snail mail’. You can download the form HERE
- Best way to pay your dues is EFT. The clubs bank account details are on the renewal form. Please ensure that your name is in the description when EFT’ing…so I can identify who’s payment is who’s.
- For those of you that don’t have a functional printer to print the form, a limited number of forms will be available at the July club meeting (8 July). Ask Barry Smythe. There will also be a few at the field in the admin container, ask a committee member to get you one.
I will finish off by saying, Thank you guys one and all for the overwhelming support.
Regards,
Mike Christoph
