Tomorrow, Friday the 9th January has also been declared a Total Fire Ban day for the whole state, so unfortunately no flying again. Past two months of less than average weather, cold, windy and rain reducing flying time, now it's too hot, can't win.
With a few hot days coming up, "finally", just a reminder that there is no flying at the field on Total Fire Ban days. Check the news etc. for our region before planning to come and fly.
Third time lucky, we will be holding the 2025 JOHN BENTLEY SCALE DAY on the 15th February 2026. Hopefully the weather is kind to us by then. We've pencilled in the 22nd. just in case.
